Seventh grade was fun, but eighth grade is going to be better. What I disliked about seventh grade is that we actually do a ton of work. There is no time to relaxe and all we do is work. The teachers are very strict and dont let you do anything, except Mr. Moore. The things I liked was being by that courtyard. I wish we could go out there for lunch, but just seeing it is fine. I wasn’t expecting for so much work. I can’t wait for eighth grade. I’m looking forward to being one grade away freom high school.
Iranian Facebook
I am happy that we have so many rights here in America, but we are in other countries’ business too much. In Iran, they recently have banned facebook for a few days, but it’s back on now. It is unknown why it was banned. I can see where President Ahmadinejad is coming from when he said Facebook should have restrictions. With all the stuff revolving around him, someone could be planning an attack. In the United States, that can’t happen because so many of us use it. We have a lot more freedom here too and all the messages we send on Facebook or Twitter can be read by officials so nothing bad happens.
Hope
This summer I hope to land a 360 on a wakeboard. I have attempted it, but have failed on the landing. I also hope to succeed in school. Right now, I’m living up to that, but I still have a few years to go. With hard work, it will come. I have been giving my all in every class and it pays off with good grades. Lastly, I hope to meet new people and make more friends because they always help you with things. I often help my friends, so they help me when I need it.
Challenge 12
This challenge has improved my communication skills by learning how to use a blog and interact with other people all over the world. I have learned that therwe all kinds of things you can do with a blog and it’s easy to learn from other people. Blogging could become an integral part of our curriculum by studying how other kids from around the globe live their lives. Also, the people from those countries could tell us about their religions, the geography of their region, and their diet. I would probably taske anoth challenge because I enjoyed doing this one because I met a lot of new people. It is an enjoyable experience.
Almost Finished! Response
This year has been a really fun year and I’m really looking forward to eighth grade. this year has gone by alrite for me. It could have been better if the main classes (math, science, world history, ect.) were more fun. The biggest surprise was that nothing excting really happened this year. I guess it was just a plain year. My greatest achievement this year is that I actually lived through the boring lessons that we only took notes and listened. There was rarely any hands-on stuff to do. The wackiest moment of my year was every day in choir when we were just able to talk all hour and mess around. What I will miss from seventh grade is seeing the courtyard every morning. It always made my day to see outside instead of being all cooped up. I look forward to meeting all the new teachers in eighth grade and graduating from middle school. I also look forward to the summer going into eighth grade, filled with baseball, wakeboarding and boating.
3 R’s
My family reduce, reuses and recycles everything we can. We always take our cans, bottles and plastics back, we recycle our ewspaper all the time, and we reuse the reusable things. We recycle because we don’t want our Earth to get ruined. Our newspaper is easy to recycle because we just put it by the road and people come pick it up. With the other stuff, we bring it into the store. We try to reduce using non-renewable resources as much as possible. if everyone followed the 3 R’s, we would have a cleaner Earth.
My Volunteer Job
I have a volunteer job right now. I go work for my grandma and help her out around her house. She is not capable of doing some of the things I do so i am happy to help her get things done. Usually when I’m helping her, she bakes something really good to eat and she lets me taste it for my opinion on it. I think more people should help elderly people out so they don’t have to hurt themselves trying to do something they aren’t capable of doing.
